医院围绕民政主责主业，聚焦残疾预防和失能失智的科技需求，形成了康复医学与康复工程学科群（一体）、老年医学相关学科、儿童康复（两翼）与肢体矫形与重建为主的骨科学科群、脑科学学科群（双柱）组成“一体两翼双柱”的学科体系。其中肢体矫形与重建外科、康复医学学科群、传统医学学科群、99厅卫生健康委“99厅高级认知中心”。
